Read: Matthew 1:21-23
She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet:
“Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
and they shall name him Emmanuel,”
which means, “God is with us.”
Say Together:
“He shall be called Emmanuel, which means, God with us.”
Talk About:
Do you feel like God is far away, or do you feel that He is with you?
Pray:
With confidence we pray to you Jesus, knowing that you hear us because you are with us. Lord, have mercy on us. When we struggle, help us experience your presence.
