Serving at the altar is a front-and-centre ministry that calls for self-confidence and attention to detail, as well as a reverent and prayerful attitude. Altar servers can be adults or children (grade 3+). They are required to arrive at least 15 minutes before Mass and serve at least once a month. Training is provided. Servers assist the celebrant, helping to ensure a smooth flow and prayerful atmosphere during Mass.
