Summer is here, the weather is warmer, the beach is calling, and SBPkids Summer is in full swing! Throughout the month of July, we’ve got all kinds of fun for kids at our Make Waves VBS (Vacation Bible School) every Sunday afternoon, and kids from ages 5-12 (kids born between 2010 and 2017) are invited to join us!

We are all designed to make a positive change in the world, and we want to help kids believe this about themselves, too! We know that it is possible to create a ripple effect that can affect the world around us in ways kids will never forget. God dropped us all onto this planet to do this – to make waves. And that’s what we’re talking about at SBPkids Summer VBS.

During SBPkids Summer, we will not be doing SBPkids Live children’s ministry during Mass. But kids can still access Mass booklets in the foyer every Sunday that will help them engage deeper in the Mass. Plus, kids are invited to stick around or come to the church after the 11:30am Mass for each of the five Sundays in July to Make Waves and have a blast! We’ll even be providing lunch for families who have kids participating in VBS, thanks to our incredible SBP Men’s Ministry!

VBS is an opportunity for kids at Saint Benedict Parish to participate in our Game Plan. Together we’ll Discover Jesus as we learn important truths. We’ll Grow Together as we join together in person and hang out with other kids our own age. (There’s even a group for preteens to connect!) We’ll Worship God through fun worship songs, we’ll Serve Others by participating in a shared Missions Project, and we can Go Out and invite our friends to come! This is a great opportunity to invite kids you know to join the fun!

Kids can join any weekend in July. Registration will be open each week until Saturday evening at saintbenedict.ca/vbs and we will register kids at the door as well.
