From time to time, we feature a profile of one of the Saint Benedict Parish staff members so parishioners can get to know them a little better and get a better sense of what they do at the parish. This month, we’re featuring our new Sacraments Coordinator, Caroline Dubois.

What’s your job title?
CAROLINE: I am the Sacraments Coordinator.

What staff team are you on?
I am on the Worship & Serve Team.

When did you start working at Saint Benedict Parish?
I started this past May.

Where are you from originally?
I’m from Brandon, Manitoba.

What did you do before you worked at Saint Benedict Parish?
I worked as Faith Formation & Religious Education Coordinator at St. Augustine of Canterbury Parish in Brandon since 2019. Before that, I volunteered at Our Lady of Grace Children's Home in Meru, Kenya, and I worked as Librarian & Registrar at Our Lady Seat of Wisdom College in Barry's Bay, Ontario.

What made you decide to come work here?
I fell in love with this ministry, and I wanted to continue serving Christ's church at an explosively alive parish!

What was a key moment in your faith life that you can share with us?
I remember my grandfather making a toy thurible for incense for my siblings and me when we were little so that we could play pretend Mass in the basement. It is a good example of how my family fostered a love of God, his church, and the Mass, especially in our household growing up.

What do you like to do outside of work?
I like hiking, music, and reading.
