Reflection

Merry Christmas! Christ is born! The day we have been waiting for — the day we’ve been counting down to — has ARRIVED! And we can celebrate! God has entered our world to walk our lives with us. Could there be anything better?

Hurry to Bethlehem to find Him. He is Wonderful. Mighty. Eternal. Sovereign. He will guide you, care for you, and love you. He will bring you peace. He is God. With us.

This isn't the end. It is only the beginning. A newborn life holds so much promise, and Christmas holds a lifetime of promise for you. We don't simply snuff out the light from Advent now. We shine Christ's light forth into the world around us, doing what we can to share the Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love that was born this day.

Talk About

  • What has been born anew in you as you journeyed towards the manger this Advent season?
  • Which identity of Jesus do you need most today? Do you need a Wonderful Counselor to guide you? A Mighty God to show you His power? An Eternal Father to love you unconditionally? Or a Prince of Peace to calm your chaos?

Pray Together
Jesus, you are wonderful! You have done amazing things! Your greatness is beyond description. We stand in holy awe of you. Let the skies sing for joy! Let the earth join in the chorus.
Amen.
(adapted from Psalm 96, TPT)

Put it in Action
